How ArtifactPilot works

1. Choose a project folder or development drive.
2. Run a scan using Recommended, Conservative, Comprehensive, or Custom mode.
3. Review candidates, charts, risk labels, and paths.
4. Use Scan Analysis to understand categories, risk, and review order.
5. Select only the items you approve.
6. Confirm the final preview before moving approved items to the Recycle Bin.

Safety basics

• Scanning is read-only.
• Nothing is selected by default.
• Cleanup uses a final dry-run preview.
• Normal cleanup moves items to Recycle Bin, not permanent deletion.
• Protected folders, source-control folders, and sensitive files are blocked.

Trial and licensing

Trial mode lets users scan and analyze results. Cleanup, report export, saved workspaces, custom targets, and exclusions require an active license.

Updates and support

ArtifactPilot includes a manual update checker and support bundle export. The app does not silently update or upload project files.
